Dakin-Flathers in brief

Dakin-Flathers has manufactured bandsaw blades in Keighley, West Yorkshire since 1937 and exports worldwide from that one UK factory. Alongside bandsaw blades the factory makes bandknives, which is why a single brand covers wood, foam, food and hard materials.

The families divide the work plainly. Saw37 is the carbon family for wood, plastics and non-ferrous metals, with palletband variants for nail-laden timber. Ripper37 and RipperS are the sawmill and resaw bands. Slicer37 covers bandknives. Freshcut37 is the food range and Saw37GRIT carries diamond and tungsten carbide grit edges for materials no toothed blade survives.
